Producing spare parts of flat knitting machines within its own brand for quality and reasonable price range and becoming a desired brand both in Turkey and in the world, Nit Örme serves in the fields of spare parts production, pattern, design, technical service, overhaul, repair and consultancy.
Nit Örme, which increasingly raises the level of its success, struggles to guarantee its future business by making investments for the future. Apart from the spare part production and sales items, Nit Örme prioritises productionof technological items and it is in search of innovations. Irfan Yolcular, Owner of the Nit Örme Company, stated: “Knitwear sector in Turkey has significantly improved. We have the sufficient knowledge about the machine. Now we need to do something about our software. The software is based on the basis of the machine. To achieve this, we do the necessary work. Maybe we won’t be able to see but I believe that next generationwill achieve this and I trust them in this regard. When you enter Nit Örme plant, you immediately notice R & D efforts and investmentmade in the young people. Each department within the plant is working diligently.Many serious researches are done about pattern design and the software. Nit Örme set up an on-site library to connect the past and the future together. Library is filled with books that contain information about knitting and flat knitting. All the staff working here benefit from them in the maximum degree.
“NİT SCHOOL”
Giving utmost importance to education and research, Nit Örme offers extensive opportunities to young people who study at universities and vocational schools by inviting them. Emphasizing that they enable students both to have a job and to earn money, “The future is theirs. We are opening our doors to young people. All kinds of infrastructure is present here as long as they are ready and ambitious to learn. Development of the industry and the country only comes true with production. Young people will be the ones to achieve this. By raising more elements for design department, we are trying to serve the industry. We established ‘Nil Library’ because i believed that Turkey should constitute its own software. We have technological capacity to produce our machine. We lead our staff according to their skills and interests. We should be very careful while guiding the young generation. We should open their way by investing in knowledge “, he said.
“R & D STUDIES”
Irfan Yolcular stated that they make substantial investments in R & D studies and added: “Not only do I train the staff, but also I have research expenses. I have no support for R & D studies. Although we do work on this issue, ultimately, a transformation has not been granted to us. I do R&D activities with my own effort. We are trying to provide instant solutions before when a customer faces a problem and comes to us. As we are a company open to the world, we evaluate the demands. We don’t solely sell materials. We give the information for free along with the material. We write out the prescription but do not take any charge. Competitors don’t perform enough work on this issue.“
SOFTWARE STUDIES
Highlighting that the heart of tricot machines install software and they gained serious achievements in this area, Mr. Yolcular stated: “There are software in the cards. When the cards break down, the software inside of them also breaks down. We established a separate team who solves these software. No one in Turkey can fix these software failures but we do this fix. Thanks to our successful works and resolutions, I may say that we contributed to country’s economy a lot. In order to be successful in something, one should make a great effort. By closely following the developments in the world, we choose the appropriate ones and put them into practice. Nit Örme has a mission to ‘teach to catch a fish’. We aim to have developments in the fields of software and hardware by raising educated staff who know knitting. We are aware that if we teach them how to do this, machine production is quite easy.”
“WE DID NOT BECOME A BRAND BY CHANCE”
Irfan Yolcular implied that it is not a coincidence for Nit Örme products to be preferred that much and added: “ The reason why we are preferred in the world is our consistency and continuity. We achieved the desired quality in the production of spare parts. Otherwise, we couldn’t sell our products all over the world. The raw materials we use are the well known brands in the world. Users now began to compare us to the original producers and we confide in ourselves on this subject because all of our products take their place on the shelves after they are thoroughly controlled. We significantly contribute to flat knitting machinery producers by providing customer satisfaction. Evaluating the developments in tricot industry, Mr. Yolcular said: “Turkey has recently started to gain input of flat knitting machines in a quick way. It needs to be investigated in detail. There are 250 machine manufacturers in China. One should bear in mind that the machinery company that you are the representative of carry the risk of bankrupting.
The customer asks for a confidential company when he/she will buy a machine made in China. Thanks to our substructure and R&D studies, we established a trust relationship with our customers. In tricot industry, people make mistake because they consider the price rather than the quality, which damages our industry. I advise the companies who carry business on this industry to be careful while purchasing a product and not to purchase from the person outside the industry. As I mentioned before, we rely on all of our products and we have the capacity and competence to provide instant solutions to customers’ problems. Our target is to remove the unfair competition with quality people and to enable tricot makers to continue their job with code of ethics without pleading anyone. Not only the commercial aspect but also moral aspect of the business should be taken into consideration. As our tricot makers choose unqualified and cheap products, it negatively affects R&D and investors of quality products. We did not have connections with immoral business and we won’t. What makes me sad is not the loss of money, but a customer saying that i am not good at this business.”
