What do you think about who the leader of ITMA is in 2015?
“In this years ITMA, everybody is looking for a solution for textile print, as you also noticed. The market is very complicated in the textile pring, as you noticed. There are certain dye inkjets for certain fabrics. We want to provide opportunity for people to make digital printing with more easier process and we Show this opportunity in ITMA for the first time. This is a water based pigment inkjet… This inkjet give you an opportunity to make printing on very different type of fabrics with a simple process. There is no need for a pre-process any more, there is no need for a certain print machine, there is no need for a certain chemical operation. Only a single inkjet, a single print machine, a single simple operation… It can both made inline and online but a single operation is enough for all kind of fabric. This inkjet can be used in all industrial type of print machine. Think that you are a clothing manufacturer; you will be able to manufacture your all collection by using a single inkjet. Instead of going to the company that manufactures five six printed fabric, you will only go to one of them and make them to what you want. This really provides very important savings.’
Could you please inform us about your Ar-Ge departments and your budget?
“As you said, the Ar&Ge works are performed in Israel. The head department of ElvaJet makes manufacturings of inkjet since 15 years. Elva- Jet is a unite which is established to manufacture only digital textile inkjets by Bordeaux. We brought this 15 years information together and hired the best employees of the textile industry for them to support us. They brought us the information of inkjet and textile information and we succeeded to develop the product together which is new for today. Thus everybody says now ‘I can print everything with a single inkjet’.
What are your expectations about this product?
“We make meetings with so many manufacturers about this product. The answers we got are incredible! Everybody wondered how this product is working. Our main expectation here is make partnership and cooperation with the leading companies. We thus want to make them more pringting with the equipment that they already had.’
Did you perform the beta test of this inkjet?
“Absolutely… We completed the development approximately for one year ago and since then, it has the intensive test both within our constitution and together with our partners. We tested this on very different fabrics and applications. After all these tests are completed we came here. This is not a product of concept, now it is a product
which came onto the market and ready to use.’
What do you say about the environment?
“We manufacture inkjet and if we come to the environment and ecology issues, they are always very important for us. We used so many solvents and materials which give damages to the environment in past. However, this inkjet is water based… It is an environment friendly product and has been produced completely for clothes’ fabric. We think that we should manufacture a completely harmless product.”
What do you think for Turkey’s market in digital textile print?
“For us Turkey is one of the main markets. There so many important textile manufacturers. We also want to make sale to Turkey’s market. This inkjet will change so many things in Turkey. You will see that this inkjet will be used both in Turkey and all over the world in the next several weeks or months. We also participate in FESPA Eurasia and we will come to Turkey in 2016.’’
