Textile Asia International Textile & Garments Machinery Show will be inaugurated once again for the 15th time by Federal Commerce Minister Khurram Dastgir Khan on 9th March 2016 by and be held to the 11th March on Karachi Expo Center. The exhibition organized in collaboration with Ecommerce Gateway Pakistan and Pakistan Readymade Garments Manufacturers and Exporters Association (PRGMEA) expects about more than 65,000 trade and corporate visitors during the 3-day show. This mega textile exhibition aims at focusing the immense buying and selling potential of textile and garment machinery, accessories, raw materials and chemicals and relative services under one roof.
“The mega event aims to boost export of value- added sector by bringing latest garment technology at the door step of the exporters of not only Karachi but Pakistan. The International Textile Asia Trade Show is one of the most enduring events, being held for the 15th successive year. The trade fair is being organised at the most opportune time when the government is looking forward to modernise and upgrade the textile sector of the country for better quality products and enhanced productivity. This will complement their efforts for high quality, value added products and assist them to further develop their business in the export markets,” Shaikh Mohammad Shafiq, Chairman, PRMGEA, emphasizes the importance of the event.
The trade fair stands out as the country’s biggest B2B fair on textile, garment, embroidery, digital printing machinery and chemical and relative services, will have more than 550 international brands displaying their products in over 700 booths, and over 500 foreign delegates mainly from Austria, China, Czech Republic, France, Germany, India, Italy, Korea, Taiwan, Turkey, UK and USA, etc. would attend the event. The trade fair will provide an effective podium for joint ventures / collaborations to the textile SMEs and also provide a platform to its international participants to meet respective Pakistani business personals to make future business leads in Pakistan. Following 15th Textile Asia in Karachi, the 16th Textile Asia will also be held this year on 27 – 29 August at Lahore Expo Centre in Pakistan.
