Roland DG will be exhibiting at Sign Istanbul 2015, from 10th-13rd September at the Tüyap Fair and Congress Center, bringing several proposals among products, application solutions and services tailored for the operators of printing and textile industry. Roland will showcase a wide range of technologies for helping people to transform their imagination into reality. Print, print&cut, vinyl cutter, UV printer and engraving devices have been chosen by many operators worldwide since 1986 for their innovative technology, unsurpassed reliability and user friendliness.
Wide format digital printers and print&cutters
Inside the Roland booth, there will be a space dedicated to the VersaEXPRESS RF-640. This wide format device is equipped with the latest print head technology and GREENGUARD gold-certified ECO-SOL MAX2 inks in four colours (CMYK configuration). RF-640 allows the users to use the Roland Printer Assist iPad app for managing production, test printing and cleaning functions right on their iPad tablet, while thanks to the Roland Ink Switching System they can replace empty ink cartridges without stopping the printers. At this 17th edition of Sign Istanbul, Roland will also showcase the well-known print&cut product family devices: the desktop sized VersaSTUDIO BN-20, the entry level VersaCAMM SP-540i, the worldwide best selling* series VersaCAMM VS-540i and the 64- inch top level PRO4 XR-640. ECO-SOL MAX2 inks, light and metallic colours, different features and productivities for letting the operators to choose the right solution for their businesses.
Dye-sublimation printers for textile market
One of the main protagonists of this current edition of Sign Istanbul will be the 64-inch dye-sublimation printer Texart RT-640 equipped with
Roland’s Texart ink, certified by OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, product class I. A four (CMYK)-or eight (CMYKLcLmOrVi)-colour ink configuration and a choice between two different RIP software: ErgoSoft Roland Edition and Roland VersaWorks. A wide colour gamut, enabling bold, vibrant colours and rich velvety blacks, as well as subtle gradations and fine details. The RT-640 increases the textile operators’ business opportunities through a wide range of applications including apparel, signs, interior décor, fashion and original goods. Beside the Texart RT-640 Roland will showcase the PRO-4 XF-640, equipped with CMYK sublimation inks and two golden coated heads for delivering high quality results.
Other digital business solutions
For those who want to start with the digital printing, inside the Roland booth there will be a special corner dedicated to the vinyl cutter devices. The operators will see the cutting quality and reliability of the desktop sized CAMM-1 GS-24 and the professional GX-500. These machines allow the creation of beautiful eye-catching graphics for customizing t-shirt, sweatshirts, hoodie and other accessories with heat-transfer materials.
UV printing and engraving technologies
At Sign 2015, Roland will showcase another interesting solution both for visual communication and digital textile market: the VersaUV LEF-20 UV printer. LEF-20 is the right choice for personalizing gifts, gadgets and clothing accessories with colourful graphics and stunning effects. It is featured by a unique quality and it can print 4-colors, white and glossy painting on different materials, also curved up to 2 mm. Moreover, the glossy painting can be sized in height for creating tactile and textural details. Roland will also display the VersaUV LEJ-640F flatbed printer, an incredible device able to print CMYK, white and clear inks onto both flexible and rigid substrates up to 15 cm thick, adding matte and embossing effects on polyurethane, polystyrene, polypropylene, cardboard, aluminium panels, fluted and corrugated boards, self-adhesive vinyl, polycarbonate, PET, polyethylene, PVC banner and much more. A special corner will be dedicated at the EGX-350, an engraving device able to make beautiful engraving on various materials such as plastic, aluminium, copper and wood. Inside the booth there will also be a wide reception space to discuss with Roland staff and with Roland dealers in Turkey about all proposals and possible applications of the solutions showed at the event.
