Texpo Eurasia and Yarn Fair 2015 Fairs, with the participation of 458 companies and company representatives from 30 countries and the visits of 22.325 professionals from 71 countries, took place in TÜYAP Istanbul.
Texpo Eurasia 2015, 32nd International Knitting, Embroidery, Stockings, Printing, Narrow Vowing Machines, Sub Industries, Textile Finishing Machines and Chemicals Fair, 12th International Istanbul Yarn Fair, which were held by Tüyap Fuarcılık with the support of TEMSAD (Textile Machinery and Accessory Industrialists Association), took place at Tüyap Fair and Conference Center in 5 – 8 February within a total of 6 halls with 40.000 square meters area with the participation of 458 companies and company representatives and visits of 22.325 professionals from 71 countries.
MAGNIFICENT OPENING
In the speeches given at the opening ceremonies of the fair, where Turkish textile sector representatives came together; Tüyap Chairman of the Executive Board Bülent ÜNAL, Textile Machinery and Accessory Industrialists Association (TEMSAD) Chairman of the Executive Board Adil NALBANT, Stockings Industrialists (ÇSD) Chairman of the Executive Board Bülent İYİKÜLAH, Fashion and Ready-Made Clothing Federation (MHGF) Vice Chairman of the Executive Board and President of the Fair Committee İrfan ÖZHAMARATLI, Fashion and Ready-Made Clothing Federation (MHGF) Chairman of the Executive Board Hüseyin ÖZTÜRK, Istanbul Textile and Raw Materials Exporters Union (İTHİB) Chairman of the Executive Board İsmail GÜLLE, Istanbul Ready-Made Clothing and Garment Exporters Union (İHKİB) Chairman of the Executive Board Hikmet TANRIVERDİ informed the press, participants and the visitors about the sector’s expectations and targets.
NEW OPPORTUNITIES IN THE SECTOR
Texpo Eurasia 2015, which creates the most comprehensive meeting point for the textile industry as a platform in Turkey and Eurasia Region and which provides new commercial opportunities, attracted the attention as a commercial platform where the latest novelties in knitting, embroidery, stocking, press production technologies and machinery and sub production and textile chemicals are exhibited together as well as leading new investments of the sector by being the most important fair of its subject. In the fair, the latest technologies that have high energy productivity and that minimize wastage during production and amount of lost products were exhibited.
THE MOST SUCCESSFUL YARN FAIR OF THE LAST 12 YEARS
12th International Istanbul Yarn Fair, organized by Tüyap, became one of the biggest and the most comprehensive yarn fair of the world through making such successful progress. Bringing the International yarn sector together, Istanbul Yarn Fair became a sales and marketing center that leads the global yarn commerce by bringing participants and visitors from various countries of the world together. Flowing with visitors thanks to the effective marketing exercises, Istanbul Yarn Fair received thumbs up from the participating companies and became the most successful yarn fair of the last 12 years via its exportation opportunities it provides for the participating companies. While the participating companies were content about the number of visitors and the quality of the visitors, potential customers got together and had a productive fair.
PROCUREMENT COMMITTEES FROM 10 COUNTRIES
Concentrating on the international marketing activities with the aim of getting the textile and yarn sectors into the new markets, Texpo Eurasia 2015 and 12th International Istanbul Yarn Fairs; brought professional procurement committees from 10 countries including Bosnia Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Iran, Kosovo, Macedonia, Egypt, Uzbekistan, Serbia and Jordan as Tüyap invitees with the participating companies together. As a result of the conducted international marketing activities, 2.495 professional visitors from foreign countries visited the fairs.
GUERILLA MARKETING EXERCISES GOT CREDIT FROM THE VISITORS
In the biggest Yarn Fair of the world, the extraordinary marketing exercises drew attention. Specially prepared striking balls, lollipops that are made of colorful yarns and nostalgic car that was covered with hand-made knits attracted considerable attention of the visitors. Having İFEXPO 2015, in which Underwear-Stocking producers got together with their full power, at the same date with Texpo Eurasia 2015 and International Istanbul Yarn Fair, where all the segments of the textile machine sector are exhibited, created a significant synergy. Texpo Eurasia 2015 and 12th International Istanbul Yarn Fairs, in which the latest products and novelties of the companies that led textile machines and yarn sector met were called as the heart of textile world in Eurasia.
RECORD NUMBER OF VISITORS IN İFEXPO
There was a record number of participation to International Underwear Stockings Fair which was organized simultaneously with Texpo Eurasia 2015, 32nd International Knitting, Embroidery, Stockings, Printing, Narrow Vowing Machines, Sub Industries, Textile Finishing Machines and Chemicals Fair, 12th International Istanbul Yarn Fair. İFEXPO 2015, 12th International Istanbul Underwear Stockings Fair broke a new record in TÜYAP Fair and Conference Center with the participation of 234 companies and company representatives along with the 8.760 visitors from 65 countries in a closed exhibition area of 25.000 square meters. İFEXPO Fair, in which Turkey’s most important underwear, stockings, home and beach clothing, sub industry and accessories producers joined, became the meeting point of producers and purchasers at home and abroad. The intense promotional works that took place in the target markets of the sector gave results.
