The President of the TEMSAD Adil Nalbant and the Vice Presidents Mehmet Agrikli and Numan Gurel attended the panel about “the Turkish Textile Machinery Sector and its Future” in “the International Textile Summit” organized with the cooperation of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Kahramanmaras, the DOGAKA (East Mediterranean Development Agency) and Sutcu Imam University, as well.
Vice President of the TEMSAD Numan Gurel explained the progresses achieved by the TEMSAD in 15 years from its establishment in 1998 until today and the general situation of the Turkish textile machinery sector. The other Vice President of the TEMSAD Mehmet Agrikli articulated the problems encountered by the Turkish textile machinery producers in the domestic and foreign markets. The President of the TEMSAD Adil Nalbant made a presentation about “Proposals of Solution to the Problems of the Textile Machinery Sector”. The President Adil Nalbant brought forward again the issues to which the TEMSAD drew attention repeatedly and which still continue to be problems and repeated that the textile manufacturers must support the domestic machinery producers. Indicating that the admiration of the foreign machinery still continues, the President of the TEMSAD stated that more support is required to produce the thread, weaving and knitting machinery in our country by drawing attention to the significance of the R&D issue.
