With both UV and SUV machines and new series of ‘Cutting Plotter’, Pimms was under the spotlight at Sign Istanbul 2013 Fair with its new generation machines to change the dynamics of the sector about speed, sensitivity and resistance.
Mr. Akira Ikeda, Board Chairman of Mimaki, Mr. Kazuaki Ikeda, Board Member and Mr. Sakae Sagane, the President of Europe who all appreciate the successes of PIMMS Group in the sector and many other executives met their dealers and customers at the booth of PIMMS at Sign Istanbul Fair.
SUPPORT TO PIMMS FROM MIMAKI’S PRESIDENT AND EXECUTIVES
Mr. Sagane expressed that Turkish market is very important and valuable for Mimaki and they will sustain their investments to provide a better service to their customers. “You can regard our existence here as a promise to Turkish users. At Sign Istanbul Fair, we have the chance of meeting our distributor PIMMS, our dealers and customers. We are always trying to work by taking the market into consideration and according to the feedbacks we receive from our customers. Therefore, we are extremely happy to be together and communicate with our customers personally” said Mr. Sagane.
And the Board Chairman Mr. Ikeda started with remarking that Mimaki produces products applying to 3 main sectors being Sign/Graphic, Industrial and Textile and said, “In the sign market, our market share in the world is 30%, 50% in Japan and I am proud to say that it is over 40% in Turkey. That’s why we wanted to come here with all our executives and meet our customers and dealers. To serve better to Turkey, Middle East and Africa, to provide a better technical support and give demonstrations for our machines and to make progress gradually, we opened a ‘Technical Support Center’ in Istanbul.” Mr. SelcukAyguler, General Manager of PIMMS Group stated that as each year, they prepared for SIGN Fair laboriously. Mr. Aygüler said, “We have made use of ‘Our Life is Digital’ theme also at this fair and decorated our booth with the visuals and applications printed by Mimaki machines. We took the opportunity of showing many applications like floor graphics, wall covers, interior (stores) decoration samples, car coatings, home textile, clothing, different types of promotion materials, flags and on-wall advertising to our customers one by one. So, we were able to tell users that our machines can print almost on any materials and to what extent these applications are within our lives.”
MIMAKI IS NUMBER 1 IN TURKEY IN TERMS OF DIGITAL PRINTING IN THE TEXTILE SECTOR
Thanks to its quality printing, high productivity and fast technical service, Mimaki machines have become the most preferred brand in Turkey in the field of digital printing on textile in the textile sector. At the fair, PIMMS displayed textile printing machines of Mimaki at their dealers’ booths. At the booth of AIT, TS5, TS5000 rapid transfer printing machines, Future Digital and Digimania were introduced. The visitors had the chance of seeing almost all transfer printing machines of Mimaki at the same time. Mimaki is gaining the trust of users with its specialty in the digital printing machines and machine production just oriented at this. Moreover, the company finished the preparation of the first issue of its new periodical ‘PIMMS Life’ before the fair and gave them to its customers for free. Again special to the fair, a mini contest with the name of “Follow the Stars” was held. The visitors coming to the booth by following the stars got their presents from Pimms by answering the questions on the cards. The target of PIMMS which will celebrate its 35th year in 2014 is to provide the best service to more customers through its dealers and strong service support network by preserving its market leadership. Another target of Pimms in 2014 is to open Mimaki Operator Training Center.
