44th World Chemistry Congress will be held in Istanbul by the host of Turkish Chemistry Association under the main sponsorship of Ak-Kim.
Under the main sponsorship odf Ak-Kim Chemistry, “44th World Chemistry Congress” will be held in Turkey by Turkish Chemistry Association this year. The Congress being one of the most prestigious organizations of the world in the field of chemistry is held in a different country which are members of IUPAC (International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry) each year. The venue for the congress to be held in August 11-16, 2013 will be Istanbul Lutfi Kırdar Congress and Exhibiton Center and Harbiye Military Museum and Convention Center. Besides many scientist who have a say in their fields from a vast majority of countries around the world, Nobel Chemistry Prize Winners Alan Heeger, Ryojini Noyori, Ada Yonath ve Aaron Ciechanover will be presenting their latest studies in their fields within the scope of the congress.To this 44th World Chemistry Congress of which the main theme of the year is “Clean Energy Through Chemistry”, around 3 thousand national and foreign academicians, teachers, students and sectoral representatives are expected to attend. Throughout the congress, presentations related to specific subjects in all spheres of chemistry will be made and discussed by the specialists. As well as the 11 different main areas of chemistry, more than 2 thousand oral presentation and poster show will be made during the congress in which 8 specific symposiums, workshops and special scientific activities will be conducted. Some of the themes to be discussed accompanied by parallel sessions will be clean energy through chemistry, chemical analysis, chemical synthesis, physical chemistry, micro and nano science/technology, green and sustainable chemistry, biochemistry and materials science.
