Inelli Plastic , which manufactures plastic Ring Spouts, Flyer Spools and Bobbins used in the textile sector for domestic and foreign markets for more than 50 years, blazed a trail again. It manufactured a spout on which all sorts of drawings, figures and shapes can be performed for the first time in the world.
While the old existing system was two parts colored spout, the new generation spout has become open to all kinds of color combinations, to the infinite numbers of those combinations, to the shapes, figures, dates and drawings. The requirements of the numbers of colors of the thread enterprises are not problems any more. The patent of the product including its method of manufacturing has been obtained and it is valid throughout the world. The Chief Executive Officer of Inelli Plastic , Alican Inelli who stated that their manufacturing of plastic thread spouts for textile industry continues increasingly said that they perform many thread investments and spout manufacturing inland and abroad primarily for their domestic customers. Emphasizing that they performed activities for more than half a century in the plastic sector primarily in the textile sector Inelli told that they overcame the fierce competition in the sector by innovation. Dipl. Ing. Plastic Engineer Alican Inelli who claims that the cheap and third-class goods do not only come from east but also from west said that especially some European companies mislead the Turkish customers. Alican Inelli explained that “They offer products made of inappropriate materials with the prices less than our own knowing the problems which their customers will confront in future in order to be able to sell their products. Their single goal is to receive the order. As Inelli, we have focused just on the requirements of our customers for 60 years and our philosophy has never been to receive the order by fair means or foul. For us there is one right thing, and that is the product specifications which our customers require. We have never compromised and will never compromise our quality in order to reduce our prices. We will go on to do what the quality of the product requires and will even continue to develop the product quality as we do it right now. With our 60 years of past, we have the necessary experience.”
THE USER MUST FOCUS ON THE QUALITY
Inelli, who warns the owners of the Thread Factories for them to be more sensible against the Europeans who try to sell all sorts of goods by defaming the domestic manufacturers and especially Inelli, expressed that “Those companies which do not have any knowledge other than the polypropylene raw materials endanger the systems and the spindles which must work without any problems for at least 10 years by selling spouts which they will manufacture from plastics reinforced with abrasive materials. The costs of the spare parts which will flow abroad are our paid taxes. Let us not allow that. Competition is an absolute must, but is the thread machine less important than the installation of cheap parts on the aircraft? You must stay away from the companies which do not have Quality Systems and traceability. As Inelli, we have the ISO 9001:2008 and ISO TS 16949 Documents. The manufacturing and the quality is traced 24/7 (in our laboratory in our company). The first and single company that operates in that manner is Inelli. The use of materials other than certain ones for the manufacturing of the ring spouts which operate with a revolution of more than 20,000 is to invite the problems in future. It is to harm the national property. Billions of Euros and billions of Dollars are spent for the thread machines. But the use of the spouts made of abrasive materials which will harm the spindles is considered while the price of the spout is high. The single criterion is that they come from Europe. We forget how much we are harmed by the Europeans when it is appropriate for them to harm us. Some Europeans like some of the Chinese manufacturers have already adopted the philosophy “the more the price the higher the product quality” as well. They regard Turkey as a market to sell cheap products. They do not care about the monies which will flow abroad. I advise humbly our owners of the thread factories to think very carefully about the products which will come from Europe and further at the domestic prices. As a Turkish Engineer and Industrialist, I warn that it will be too late when the problems of spindles begin after 2-3 years. All the spindle buttons will be abraded. They will have to replace completely all the spindles. And that means non-recoverable losses.”
WE SERVE VARIOUS SECTORS
Inelli who stated that in 2006 they made the decision to enter into different manufacturing fields where they can utilize their knowledge accumulations, human resources and educational infrastructure mentioned that “We took our first step in that direction toward the automotive sector. At first we strengthened our staff. Then we have restructured our organization and have made it mean. We completed our system to serve the automotive sector after 3 years of long and tiring works and we obtained our ISO TS 16949 Document in July 2009 as well. He did not forget to thank again to all his crew for their devoted works. Inelli mentioned about the following pointing out that the 2009 crisis did not affect them very much in terms of automotive turnover since they are new in the automotive supply industry sector. “We increased the automotive turnover by 25 per cent from 2008 to 2009, and by 63 % from 2009 to 2010. And we increased it by 10 % from 2011 to 2012. After textile and automotive we started to manufacture plastic products toward the white appliances, and market goods and hygiene sectors. We manufacture plastic parts for one of the greatest brands of heating products of Turkey. We have been performing contract manufacturing for 2 years for one of the most famous brands of the world in the fields of market goods, hygiene and cleaning.
We send insulator parts to the factories of Siemens in Turkey, Indonesia, South African Republic, Mexico, Colombia and Germany. They assemble those into large cutter groups.” Explaining that they started to manufacture various plastic parts depending on the project other than their standard manufacturing Inelli said that “We worked on various projects of Germany. We performed works for a few companies. We continue to receive orders from these companies. We are preferred especially for the products for which the quality and the traceability are sought with our knowledge, our ability to measure and educational infrastructure and naturally with our engineering and broad experience in high performance plastics. Lastly we started in 2012 to manufacture for a main German aircraft supply industry company the parts of Airbus A 320 and Airbus A 350 (the latest model, it has just gotten out of the hangar) and Boeing 777. We are extremely happy and proud to share this novelty with you while it is the last but not the ultimate point where Inelli has achieved. That success belongs to the entire Inelli crew from its engineers to its machine operators and to Turkey.” Pointing out that last year they obtained 55 per cent of their turnover from textile, 15 per cent from automotive, 16 per cent from air-conditioning, and 14 per cent from their manufacturing for the market and the hygiene and the other sectors Inelli stated that “This year we aim to increase our turnover by 27 per cent.”
NEW INVESTMENTS WILL CONTINUE
Noting down that they will increase their sales of especially textile products due to their new investments in the thread sector Inelli remarked that their turnover increased each year, and said that textile had always been the sector on which they placed the greatest emphasis, and that it is our inheritance from our father, and conveyed that the joy of their competitors due to their entering into different sectors had lasted short. Inelli said that “Our competitors disseminate ungrounded information that we would leave the textile bobbins. That is certainly not true. Currently 35 % of our turnover comes from the exports of textile bobbins. The manufacturing of spouts will continue to be our leading manufacturing. But certainly we will not remain dependent on that manufacturing. We will continue to be beneficial to our country with our quality, our reliability, our accumulation of knowledge and our experience of 60 years and with both our domestic sales and exports. ISO TS 16949 Quality System has affected our manufacturing of spouts very positively and converted it to a more professional structure. Our laboratory which we constructed within the scope of those works becomes more competent each passing day. You cannot find in every plastic store the 3D i.e. the 3 dimensional measuring devices. The works such as FMEA, PPAP, APQP, SPC,and MSA are performed in our company, and that brings us to a very different position from all other plastic manufacturers. Our purpose is to stand to the competition in the following years more easily by knowledge, by investment in the human and by technology. And there is not any other way. No Small or Medium Sized Enterprise (SMSE) can stay alive by other means. To work pursuant to the International Quality and Measurement Standards is the primary way to achieve that. And that is possible only with your qualified crew.”
NEW PRODUCTS
Inelli who emphasized that their new products for the textile and the automotive which ensure their growth will continue expressed that “There will certainly be increases in the other fields, but we will work mostly focused on the textile and the automotive. We will be more active and willing with regard to the engineering plastics for the automotive. Our Company in NOSAB Organized Industrial Zone in Bursa, Mariplast-Inelli continues to manufacture qualified thread painting bobbins, as well. It is leading by landslide with its quality in comparison with its competitors and it always will be leading with its quality bobbins which ended the thread losses which the thread dye manufacturers leave on the cheap bobbins. We have a number of imitators. They appear on one day and disappear on another. Fortunately the thread dyeing plants can see better how expensive in fact the cheap products are for themselves as the manufacturing becomes more difficult and the profitability reduces.”
Explaining that the export items are the products for the textile sector other than some special projects and the Siemens factories Inelli indicated that they make exports to everywhere in the world primarily the USA, Germany, Indonesia, Thailand, Pakistan, Egypt, Tunis, Syria, Russia, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Kazakhstan, and that they added to those exports the engineering products such as the automotive and the supply industry parts as well.
