This year, SHIMA SEIKI will introduce its pioneering WHOLEGARMENT® knitting technology to the Peruvian market, showcasing the advanced capabilities of the MACH2®VS WHOLEGARMENT® knitting machine.
WHOLEGARMENT® technology enables the production of seamless garments, eliminating the need for post-process sewing and linking. The MACH2®VS model, ideal for various production styles, provides flexibility and versatility that allow knitting companies to stand out in competitive markets. With support for all-needle knitting from 8 to 18 gauge, the machine can produce WHOLEGARMENT® knitwear with half-gauge fabrics by utilizing every other needle. Its innovative features, such as i-DSCS＋DTC® for precise yarn control and a lighter R2CARRIAGE® system for faster production, enhance productivity and support a wide variety of yarns and materials. Additionally, the MACH2®VS offers gaugeless knitting, allowing different gauges within a single garment, and will be exhibited in an 8-gauge configuration at the event.
Further enhancing SHIMA SEIKI’s offerings is the SDS®-ONE APEX4 3D design system, a cornerstone of the company’s “Total Fashion System” approach. This system streamlines the apparel supply chain by seamlessly integrating processes from yarn development and design to production and sales support.
