USLAN ARGE Co. started up and put in continuous operation the model tricolor BCF yarn spinning machine named “USLAN BCF3-3C” in FLAMENT Tekstil Co. This was a product of succesfully completed R&D project numbered 7140522 and named “ Polypropylene Tricolor BCF Carpet Yarn Spinning Machine, Design and Production of a Model Machine, Design of a Prototype Machine” that in this project TÜBİTAK granted 75% of the project as a donation. This machine is producing tricolor BCF carpet yarn in the range of 600-4000 madtex, at a speed of 2700 rpm, having a capacity of 3000 kg/day per position. It is a single position machine and having 3-ends per position. BCF yarn spinning system contains three dosing units, three extruders, oil tank and spinpack, three polymer pumps, nine spinnerettes, quench cabinet, cooling fan, pre intermingling and spinfinish units, drawing unit and godets, texturizing system, entangling unit, winder, electrical cabinet and automation system.It is the class of new generation BCF yarn machine having 3-end winder, yarn having bulkiness, high production speed and low energy consumption, thus resulting competitive advantage to the users. Designed machines are being offered in two different models as USLAN BCF3-3C and USLAN BCF9-3C as high performance and competitive price advantages. FLAMENT Tekstil Co. located in Gaziantep donated approximately 300.000TL to this R&D project of USLAN Co. that is experienced in field of BCF yarn spinning machines. Besides this support FLAMENT Co. helped in developing the performance of the model machine and experimental studies through their experienced technical team. They provided the available space for the testing and developing the model machine in the R&D project, and provided the laboratory, twisting and heat-set machines and facilities to the test produced tricolor BCF yarns. The tricolor BCF yarns manufactured using USLAN BCF3-3C are tested in different weaving carpet structures and tufted. Most important property of this single-position machine is being able to economically manufacture high number of color of yarn samples with low waste. Companies having tricolor BCF yarn machines of big capacities should have one of this laboratory scale single position machine to produce their sample trials and low capacity lots. USLAN Co. manufactures BCF, FDY, Staple fiber spinning machines using polypropylene, polyamide and polyester raw materials. Besides these machines High Tenacity CF yarn machines and machines using PET bottle flakes are also manufactured.
