Tülin Vergen, Occupational Safety and Environment Department Manager accepted the award on behalf of Bosch Rexroth. Bosh Rexroth has been awarded with the “Encouragement Award” in the field of Top Industrial Enterprises within the scope of the “Şehabettin Bilgesu Environmental Awards” which has been granted by Kocaeli Chamber of Industry since 1995 in order to contribute environmental development and protection; to promote environmental development; to encourage the compliance with concept of the changing environment. Bosch Rexroth is honoured with this award because of the environmentally friendly practices applied to the plants and production processes. The award winners was determined as a result of evaluation and field studies of a total of 16 jury members from the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization, TOBB, TSE, Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality, Kocaeli Chamber of Industry, TUBITAK Marmara Research Center, the Universities of Marmara, Kocaeli, Sakarya and Uludağ, Gebze Institute of Advanced Technology, KALDER , TEMA and Natural Wildlife Conservation Society among a total of 22 organizations applied for the environmental awards. Bosch Rexroth earned the “Encouragement Award” because of its contribution to the premises in order to avoid environmental pollution; the use of environment friendly technologies in production processes; because of following the latest technologies for the prevention from environmental pollution; the studies on saving natural resources; and the Environmental Management System applied through the existing Environmental Management Plan.
